MENACC

About Us

The Middle Eastern and North African Cultural Community is a home away from home. We are located on the first floor of the 305 Crown Street and our space includes:

  • A state-of-the-art kitchen with tables and couches
  • A food pantry
  • An open lounge space for meetups, studying, or just hanging out
  • Projector & Zoom setup for presentations, workshops, and virtual meetings

The MENACC is an institutional resource that aims to provide holistic support to MENA-identifying students at Yale that encourages their development as well as educates the broader Yale and Greater New Haven communities of their distinct cultures, histories, religions, and needs. This is done through advocacy efforts, educational programming, student organization support, and collaborations with campus partners through an intersectional lens. Established in 2024, this is the first of its kind in the Ivy League.
